We are appealing for information following the theft of electric bike batteries. Between 19 September 2026 and 24 September 2026, unknown person(s) gained access to a locked communal bike shed at at St. Catherine's Court on Holgate Road in York and stole batteries from two electric bicycles. A pannier bag was also taken during the incident. We are keen to hear from anyone who may have been in the area during this period and noticed anything suspicious, including persons entering or leaving the bike store, or anyone seen in possession of electric bike batteries in unusual circumstances.
